Post Fiji and FNPF offer joint service

All voluntary members of the Fiji National Provident Fund can now make their payments at selected post offices around Fiji in a new joint service provided by the FNPF and Post Fiji.

The service began 01 August 2005. Contributions paid at the Post Office will be sent to FNPF and deposited into member accounts.

The minimum amount required to be paid by members is $7 per month with no maximum limit. Contributions can therefore be paid by cash and cheques at the selected Post Offices.

For every payment made at the Post Office, a members is required to pay a service fee of $1.44.

This fee is minimal compared to the cost of traveling to the FNPF office in Suva, Lautoka or Labasa to make these payments.

“The FNPF is mindful of the great distance that some of our members have to travel in order to meet their FNPF payments,” said FNPF General Manager and Chief Executive, Mr. Olota Rokovunisei.

“By introducing this joint service with Post Fiji, FNPF would like to ensure that our members have access to facilities nearer to them as opposed to traveling to our three main FNPF offices.”

As such, this service is part of the FNPF’s overall effort to improve customer services so that they are more efficient and effective.

This service is available in Post Offices in Lau, Naitasiri, Kadavu, Macuata, Cakaudrove, Bua, Lomaiviti, Rabi, Tailevu and most post offices in rural and urban centers.
