Ref:12/09 PM to launch FNPFs new brand

The Fiji National Provident Fund will launch its new identity on Wednesday, June 10 at its headquarters in Downtown Boulevard in Suva, signalling a change in its corporate culture as it continues to improve its services to all its stakeholders. Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will inaugurate FNPF’s new brand that includes the logo, staff uniforms, website, corporate signages and stationery.

FNPF Board Chairman Mr Parmesh Chand said the new image has become a necessity as the Fund streamlines its services to providing financial security for its members’ retirement.

This initiative is part of the Fund’s Strategic Plan for 2009-2011 entitled, “Repositioning the Fund Over the Next Decade”.

“The rebranding exercise is a holistic one in that the changes taking place portrays an outward expression of internal changes to staff culture and the delivery of its services,” Mr Chand said.

“We are now focusing on enhancing the superannuation functions while easing off on pre-retirement services. The new look portrays the Fund’s custodian role to grow members’ funds and secure them for their future,” he said.

“The Fund is going through some very exciting times at the moment as we realign ourselves to our core objectives. With this focus, many changes are being implemented to help us achieve our corporate goals,” he said.

Mr Chand said the new FNPF look is a result of extensive and exhaustive consultations held with staff, Management and the Board that spanned to over a year.
