For the first time, the Fiji National Provident Fund’s Retirement Expo will be heading to Sigatoka this week.
This is to ensure that members in the Sigatoka and Coral Coast area will have a chance to discuss their retirement planning options during the Expo.
Chief Executive Officer Jaoji Koroi said the Fund was taking a holistic approach in conducting its retirement expos.
“Sigatoka has long been dubbed the tourism hub for Fiji and we are aware that many of our members who work in the various properties, may not have time to visit our office in town. This Expo gives them that opportunity because our services will not be confined to normal office hours.”
“We are serious about promoting retirement savings and planning to our members because we want them to have a financially secure future when they do retire.”
“The Fund as the custodian of members’ retirement savings is mandated to conduct these sorts of awareness to ensure that our members are provided with all the information they require to make good decisions about their future.”
With the theme “Its Easy to Save”, the Expo will be conducted at the Fund’s Sigatoka Agency from Thursday 16th May to Saturday 18th May and will open from 9am-6pm on Thursday and Friday and 9am-4pm on Saturday.
The following services will be provided:
- Retirement planning and counselling;
- Additional contributions enquiries and registrations;
- Registrations for Voluntary Membership Scheme (Minors and Adults)
- Registration for digital services;
- Updating nominations and Memorandum of Administrations;
- Enquiries for FNPF/Government Village Housing Grant Assistance.
Members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and to come prepared with requirements for the services or assistance they will access during the Expo.
