The Fiji National Provident Fund’s Lautoka Branch will be open tomorrow, however, limited services will be provided.
With the confirmation of the country’s first COVID-19 case and subsequent restrictions in movement activated within Lautoka, the Fund will only provide services for the following early withdrawal assistance:
:• Medical
• Funeral
• Unemployment
The Fund’s Lautoka Branch will therefore continue to operate but with skeletal staff providing the specific services mentioned.
However, Chief Executive Officer Jaoji Koroi is encouraging members to submit their applications for these early withdrawal assistance by going to https://myfnpf.com.fj/withdrawal-online-form in an effort to minimize physical contact during this period of lock down.
“The Government has clearly outlined the importance of restricting movement as well as social distancing during this period.
To ensure compliance and for safety reasons, we ask that our members access our services through the Fund’s website.”
The Fund has also placed application drop boxes at its Lautoka, Labasa and Suva offices as an alternative mode of submission.
Western employers are encouraged to use the Employer portal to conduct their business.
“Employers will have to go online and also conduct their payments via internet banking as employer services will not be available at our Lautoka Branch”, Mr Koroi added.
Members who do not live within the Lautoka City boundaries, can visit the Fund offices in Ba, Namaka and Sigatoka.
Telephone queries can be directed to the Fund’s Suva Office on 3307811 and email enquiries sent to Information@fnpf.com.fj.
Members can also reach out to the Fund through its social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Employers can call 3238 999 or email EmployerHelpline@fnpf.com.fj for any employer related queries.
The Fund will continue to work closely with the Government agencies during this period.
