Phase 3 Requirements & Forms

FNPF members who are on reduced hours and reduced wage rate can apply for Phase 3 commencing 10 August 2020.

Government top is applicable in Phase 3 for members who have insufficient General Account balance. 

 

Phase 3 will provide two categories of relief:

  1. Reduced hours (Government Top Up Applicable)

This applies to members who are on reduced working hours/day per week due to the economic impact of COVID-19.

  1. Reduced wage rate (Government Top Up Applicable)

This applies to members who are on reduced wage/salary rates per hour due to the economic impact of COVID-19.

Payment Cycle

The application must be received and approved before the application deadline and will be paid as follows:

  • members on reduced hours will receive his/her first payment in the subsequent payment cycle. Any missed cycle payments will be paid in the members first payment.
  • members on reduced wage rate will receive the LUMP SUM payment as per Payment timeline.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. If I am on reduced hours and reduced wage rate then can I apply for both? Your employer will decide on the applicable category depending on your working situation.

 

2. I had applied for Leave Without Pay in Phase 2, but now I have recommenced work but my salary has been reduced. Can I apply in Phase 3? Yes, you can be assisted provided you have a July contribution and that your Employer has verified that your hours have been reduced.

 

3. Can the member who has been terminated and reapplies for his/her position at the same company apply for reduced wage rate if the member is starting at a rate lower than the salary he/she was on, before being terminated? Yes, they can apply.
