First things first, what is an employer or in what situations does a business or an individual become an employer.
Who is an Employer?
If you or your business are involved in hiring an employee and
- A written or verbal contract or agreement of employment was made between you and the employee.
- You have a place of business here in Fiji OR
- You are the owner of a vessel or an aircraft.
How do I register with FNPF?
To register you must:
- Download and complete our Employer Registration form
- Submit the form with all the required documents at any FNPF office nearest to you.
- Once we have you have been registered, a unique employer reference number will be given to you.
What is the current contribution rate?
The current rate of contribution (effective 1 April 2020 to 31 December 2021) is 10% of the total wages (inclusive of cents) earned, with the employer and employee each contribution 5% and 5% respectively.

How is payment made?
1. You must ensure that your contribution schedule for that particular month is approved.
2. Once it has been approved, you can generate the invoice from your online account.
3. Present the invoice at any of our Cashiers at our FNPF office.
4. If you have an online banking facility, you can make a bank to bank transfer. You can download our bank account details below.

How can I get an employee to be registered?
1. Download the Employee registration form.
2. Completely fill the employee registration form.
3. Bring the form with all the required documents to any FNPF office nearest to you.
4. When you fill the form, always make sure the personal details of your employee that you write on the form matches with the details on the birth certificate.
