Following the announcement of the Supplementary Budget for COVID-19 and in collaboration with Government, the Fiji National Provident Fund will be working closely with Employers when it rolls out the withdrawal program for members through existing digital platforms.
The Fiji National Provident Fund is requesting its members to refrain from crowding its offices and adhere to precautionary measures on COVID-19 that have been announced by the Ministry of Health.
The Fiji National Provident Fund’s Lautoka Branch will be open tomorrow, however, limited services will be provided.
With the confirmation of the country’s first COVID-19 case and subsequent restrictions in movement activated within Lautoka, the Fund will only provide services for the following early withdrawal assistance:
:• Medical
• Funeral
• Unemployment
With a focus on prevention and business continuity, the Fiji National Provident Fund will be implementing new processes in response to the threat of Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The Fiji National Provident Fund will suspend processing fees for all early withdrawal assistance, effective from 1 February 2020.
