Fiji National Provident Fund members living in flood affected areas in the Western Division will be able to access up to $1,000 under the Natural Disaster Withdrawal Scheme. This assistance will be deducted from the members’ General Account eligibility and the Fund has waived the processing fee for this withdrawal.

The Fiji National Provident Fund Board today announced the appointment of Mr Jaoji Koroi as the Fund’s Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with Section 20 (2) of the FNPF Act 2011.

 The Fiji National Provident Fund has clarified several issues pertaining to the new Withdrawal Guidelines which came into effect on 1 February, 2018.

The Fiji National Provident Fund will introduce a Short Message Services (SMS) alert to notify members of the successful processing of payment for their withdrawal applications.

Suva, Fiji – Low income earners and those employed in the informal sector can now make voluntary contributions through a new mobile phone based digital payments platform.

Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) is piloting this initiative through the Vodafone MPAiSA platform to allow voluntary members to make contributions to their retirement savings through digital channels.
